The Exodus Community is a voluntary, not for profit organisation which relies on the generosity of its supporters in discharging its mission to work along side the poor and the powerless.
The Community is supported by the parish of St Pius X, Heidelberg West. The Community House at 273 Liberty Parade Heidelberg West is provided on a rent free basis for the work of Exodus. The parish makes an annual contribution to the ministries of the Community. Remaining living costs and some ministry costs are met by the Marist Brothers.
A Ministry Support Team is responsible for major fund raising.
Donations from generous benefactors, supporting schools, local clubs, businesses and organisations have enabled many of the ministries of the Community to continue.
Exodus programs and services focus on providing important life skills for the families and children living in the Olympic Village area.
Exodus values the financial support it receives and keeps its supporters informed of Community events during the year. Donors will receive copies of the Community’s Newsletters on a regular basis and details of how financial contributions make a difference to families and young people in need.
